Why Legacy Collective

The name Legacy Collective didn’t come from a branding exercise. It came from a deeper place—history.

More specifically, the influence of the partnership between Booker T. Washington and Julius Rosenwald.

What they built together was more than a series of schools. It was a model of community-driven progress. Communities came together—contributing land, labor, resources, and belief—to build something that would outlast them.

They didn’t wait for ideal conditions.
They didn’t work in isolation.

They built together.

And what they built became legacy.
